BUP Control Box

An optional accessory for Orbitalum CA-series orbital welding power supplies, the BUP control attachment uses a pressure sensor to measure gas pressure inner-tube and adjusts the pressure during welding. This allows the BUP control to compensate for entry of gas, preventing the seam weld from entering the sump position. Gas pressure is kept automatically between programmable minimum and maximum tolerances set by the position of the electrodes during welding.

This accessory includes the ORBIPURGE forming set for tube internal diameter 0.47 - 4.33 inch (12 - 110 mm), complete with Teflon gas hoses(3) and quick connect couplings.
